We are looking for an Engine Field Service Technician to join our Distribution business in Thunder Bay.
You will make an impact in the following ways:

Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop and in field

Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
-
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
-
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
-
Maintain own tools
-
Maintain company provided service truck
-
Complete and maintain NSC (National Safety Council) driver qualification
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics

Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality

Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources.

Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level.

Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts.

Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software
-
Able and willing to be away from home for periods up to a week
-
Journeyman / 310 T Certification is required
Compensation and Benefits – Canada
