Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001; review test and burn-in results; maintain calibration records
- Investigate non-conformances, RMAs, and field failures (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA); manage CAPAs and MRB activities
- Maintain ISO 9001-aligned procedures, work instructions, and records; support internal and external audits
- Support supplier qualification and scorecards; resolve supplier issues including counterfeit risk, obsolescence, and PCN/EOL notices
- Participate in design reviews, DFM/DFT, and first article inspections; support qualification testing and compliance (CE, UL/CSA, FCC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE)
- Analyze quality metrics (FPY, DPPM, RMA trends, COPQ) using SPC; support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives
Qualifications:
Required
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of quality experience in electronics manufacturing
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC standards, and PCB assembly (SMT and through-hole)
- Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA
- Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and BOMs
- Strong analytical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/QMS software12F!@Preferred
Preferred
- Experience in broadcast, pro A/V, telecom, or other high-reliability electronics
- IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 certification; ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQT) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
- Internal or supplier auditing experience
- Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, Gauge R&R, and ESD control (ANSI/ESD S20.20)
- Familiarity with RoHS/REACH compliance, conflict minerals reporting, and video/signal fundamentals (SDI, ST 2110, IP workflows)
