General Labour-Factory/Warehouse

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring General Labour/Factory/Warehouse Operatives for a variety of upcoming temporary assignments in Southwestern Ontario.

These positions are temporary assignments to help fill staffing shortages.

You will earn:

• $21-$23.75 (depending on assignment)
• Hotel accommodation provided (when required)
• $30 diem (when lodging required)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspection and unloading/loading of received goods
• Use RF Scanner to prepare customer orders/incoming shipments
• Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks
• Product assembly
• Line Work
• Prepare material movement lists for warehouse operators
• Checks bill of lading, packing slips etc. for accuracy
• Product inspection and daily inventory counts
• Performs basic housekeeping duties
• Building and breakdown of pallets

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50-lbs and walk up and down stairs
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• High School graduate or GED equivalency.
• The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Dayshift, Afternoon or Nightshift Availability
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
