Giant Tiger continues to grow and implement new technologies. As a member of the Information Systems Stockroom Team, the successful candidate will assist in supporting Giant Tiger technologies by receiving and shipping IT items to office, warehouse, and store locations, staging equipment, wiping data from PC hard drives, preparing items for shipment, as well as upgrading and repairing PC’s, printers and other peripherals. The successful candidate will also be responsible for IT inventory management.

Role-Specific Accountabilities:
- Receive and enter new IT assets into the IT asset management system (ITAM) and physically move items into stock.
- Track movement of IT assets coming into and going out of the IS Stockroom, ensuring the ITAM database is kept up to date and accurate.
- Process defective IT asset returns from the stores, working with 3rd party partners to repair IT assets, and/or repair the asset in-house, using the supplied parts.
- Fulfill stockroom IT Asset requests, ensuring Tier 1 & 2 specialists have the IT assets they need to complete incident and service request tickets.
- Process non-configurable replacement store IT asset requests, minimizing the business impact caused by defective IT assets.
- Ship IT assets to various locations, leveraging multiple shipping methods based on shipping requirement and speed of delivery.
- Perform cycle counts of IT Stockroom(s), making adjustments in the ITAM system as needed, to ensure IT Asset inventory accuracy.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- High level of Attention to Detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adept at managing and prioritizing a variety of tasks within a busy schedule.
- Adept at modifying existing processes to resolve issues, updating existing work methods.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of IT Service Management systems such as ServiceNow.

- A+ Certification
- Previous IT hardware repair experience
- Bilingual (English/French)
